This patented Stereotaxic Alignment System provides the ability to refine and manipulate the position of the head in 3 dimensional space, independent of the clamping features of the head holding device, prior to exploring inside the head and brain. The unique design allows maximum stereotaxic adjustment for positioning the animals head, Dorsal / Ventral, Dorsal Tilt, Coronal Tilt, Anterior / Posterior and midline alignment (nose left / nose right)

Additionally, the instrument provides dimensional output of each of these axes of manipulation with .010 mm resolution
